Environment wins big in 2007 Legislative Session

"The public wants a healthier environment, and this Legislature really delivered."

  - Kurt Fritts, Executive Director, Washington Conservation Voters

Congratulations! You helped make the 2007 legislative session a huge success for the environment.

A coalition of environmental organizations approached the Legislature with an ambitious agenda, and ultimately achieved unprecedented success with passage of all four of the community’s priorities:

Clean Air/Clean Fuels, Save our Sound, $100 Million for Wildlife and Recreation Program and Eliminating Toxic Flame Retardants.
