LCVEF and LCV have invested in a high-quality, dynamic database that includes detailed information such as: voter history and registration information; personal information such as age and gender; census information regarding income, education, and race; and various models such as Vote Propensity, which gives a likelihood that someone is to vote in a certain election; and our own True Green and Green Screen models.
This data is helpful in different ways, for different projects.
Here are some examples of how the system can be used:
- Upload and Environmental ID list from a project in your state. This data can be stored and filtered by geographic region for future programming, or combined with other IDs for a more complete picture of environmentalists in your state.
- Upload your donor list, then expand it to include names and information for all the people in each donor household.
- Learn more about people who score high on the True Green and Green Screen models; find out if there are many high-scorers in a certain district.
Note on sending files for upload:
To upload and / or match a file into the system, there is one main rule: the more information, the better. Not all people on the uploaded list will “match” back to a person in the system. For best results, and to make sure that as many people on your list match back as possible, the file should include complete names, addresses, and phone numbers, as well as any personal data such as age and gender, if available. Please send the most detailed file available.
