The ELI is a rigorous and demanding but highly effective program for strengthening individual leadership skills. It is an intensive five and one half day program that actively engages participants in the learning process through a challenging simulation exercise. Participants put what they have learned during daytime presentations and workshops into practice at night during their group simulation work. Participants are expected to stay the entire week of the training.

Please do not come expecting to do other work!

This training is available to you at no cost. All food, lodging and training expenses are covered. Travel to and from the training however, is not included. If you have any particular food allergies or requirements, we will do our best to accommodate you, but it might be best to also bring some of your own snacks just in case.

Past ELI participants are not eligible to go through the program a second time – if you are an alumni and want to be involved please contact Carrie Maas at carrie_maas@lcvef.org about the possibility of being a tracker or reporter.

I understand that participation in an LCV Education Fund’s Environmental Leadership Institute™ will require a major commitment of time and energy, and my full-time participation from Sunday afternoon until Friday afternoon. I understand that I will be required to attend all daily workshop sessions, and commit to work in a group setting during the simulation work sessions, which will mean late evenings. By completing and submitting this form, I am committing to being a full participant in the entire five and one half day training.
