2011 LCV and LCVEF Capital Dinner and Lobby Day Registration

We plan to focus our Lobby Day efforts on the Senate and key White House and agency staff, with House meetings as a secondary priority (especially since the House is not in session that week).  Unless you indicate on your registration form that you would prefer to set up your meetings yourself, we will begin to set up meetings for you.  If there are senators or representatives who are of particular interest in your state, please let us know ASAP so that we can prioritize those meeting requests.  

  LCVEF’s Capital Dinner will be held at Union Station’s East Hall on Tuesday, June 7 with a reception at 6:30 PM, followed by the dinner at 7:30 PM. We are thrilled to have EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson joining us as the keynote speaker. 

 

LCV and LCVEF will cover most travel and hotel costs for those attending Lobby Day. All State League staff and board members will be offered a reduced rate ticket to the Capital Dinner at $250.


While, all State League Staff and Board are invited to attend the Capital Dinner, LCV and LCVEF WILL NOT cover travel or hotel expenses for those not attending Lobby Day.

Remember: In order to have LCV and LCVEF cover your travel and hotel costs to DC you must participate in Lobby Day.

Lobby Day participants who wish to have their hotel costs covered by LCV and LCVEF, should plan to stay at the Beacon Hotel. Those not attending Lobby Day, will need to make hotel arrangements on their own. However, if you would like to coordinate hotel arrangements with LCV and LCVEF, contact Maggie Bruns at maggie_bruns@lcv.org.
To qualify for our negotiated group rate, please do not book with the hotel directly. Instead, complete the following hotel fields. You will receive confirmation from Maggie Bruns with your hotel details. Each participant will be sharing a room unless otherwise indicated.

The LCVEF Capital Dinner will be held at Union Station on Tuesday, June 7. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner and program following at 7:30 p.m. We are pleased to offer a reduced rate of $250 per ticket (regularly $500). Tables of ten are also reduced to $2,500 (regularly $5,000). Jen Milley will be in contact with you to confirm your dinner tickets.
