2008The Green SweepNational and State Leagues spend over $40 million in our most successful fundraising year ever. We win in 84% of our 1,500 endorsed races, including a pro-conservation President. Minnesota passes a clean water and land amendment, and Missouri voters support a clean energy initiative. |

2007Union of the Federation and LCV
The Federation and LCV merge so that our combined efforts will advance a powerful, offensive strategy to move America forward in tackling global warming, energy security and environmental priorities. |

2006The Powerful League Network
The combined budgets of the league network total over $27 million. LCV and state leagues spend approximately $7.5 million helping to elect pro-conservation leadership in Congress and 1,200 candidates for state and local office. |

2004Huge Conservation Victories WonState Leagues spend $16 million in their combined budgets in 2004. Numerous state ballot measures pass, and Colorado takes the first statewide vote on renewable energy, sending a strong message to utilities throughout the country. |

2002Clean Car Act Kicks Off
California initiates the Clean Car Act by signing into law regulations capping greenhouse gas emissions. Thirteen more states and the District of Columbia follow suit in the upcoming years. |

1999Multi-state SuccessThe Federation has a very successful year in 1999 working with 28 states, and in 2000 awards more than $586,000 to states' combined budgets. Twenty-two of those states are able to raise and spend $1.7 million on election campaigns. |

1997Federation Founded
Seven State Leagues become official members of the Federation of State Conservation Voter Leagues when it is founded at the annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 18th and 19th. |
